The Fishers Freight will kick off their second season in the Indoor Football League (IFL) in March 2026 at the Fishers Event Center.
The team will play eight (8) regular season games at home and 16 games total. The Fishers Freight will join 13 IFL teams with regional rivalries anticipated with the Green Bay Blizzards and Quad City Steamwheelers.
The IFL offers a unique product, playing on a 50-yard field with padded dasher boards surrounding the field. The IFL’s game play has 8 players on offence, two of which can be in motion at the snap, and 8 players on defense.
The Indoor Football League is the highest level of professional indoor football in the United States. The IFL is America’s longest continuously running indoor football league and is the second-longest running professional football league in the U.S., after only the National Football League. The IFL was founded in 2009 and will begin its 18th consecutive season in 2026!
